Our highly individualized model is designed to make the most of your time, helping you learn Spanish in the most practical, meaningful way possible. Our students thrive under the one-on-one guidance of our passionate, experienced teachers who plan each class to meet each individual student’s interests, goals and constraints.

Highest Quality Instruction

In addition to a customized curriculum, we believe that a productive and engaging student-teacher relationship is the most important part of learning. All of our teachers have Master’s Degrees in relevant fields and are eligible to teach Spanish at a university level. We pay a fair living wage to attract talented, highly dedicated teachers, keeping in mind the high cost of living in California. We offer professional development opportunities and a yearly stipend to our teachers, encouraging them to continue their education and to bring their unique, passionate selves to class.

Giving Back to Our Community

We believe teaching Spanish in California is a responsibility as much as a privilege. In California, as in the rest of the country, there exists significant inequality between English-speakers and those whose primary language is not English. We offer a Community Impact Scholarship to students who will use their Spanish to provide public services and/or to create leadership opportunities for Spanish speaking workers. In addition, California Bilingüe is committed to donating 5% of profits to Café Puente, our non-profit organization that aims to build cross-cultural opportunities in Sonoma County through educational and cultural programming. 

Finding the Right Fit

We are happy to discuss alternative programs with prospective students. Options such as junior college classes, online apps and local library meetups are decent ways to begin one’s Spanish journey. However, for those students who are serious about gaining fluency and want swift and lasting results, our one-on-one classes offer the most intensive study model. Many of our students are able to have their classes sponsored by their employers.
