professional development
Dear Employer,
More than one-third of Californians speak Spanish at home. Perhaps you’ve considered how your business or organization would benefit from you or your employees learning Spanish, but you’re wondering how to make that a reality. Founded in 2011, Marin Spanish School has years of experience in supporting the transition to a bilingual workforce. Our one-on-one classes offer the most intensive study model available, for swift and lasting results.
Practical Benefits
Our teaching team is ready to build a college-level curriculum tailored to your organization’s professional goals. In addition to grammar and vocabulary, your employee(s) will learn the region-specific cultural differences and nuances that have an inevitable impact on your organization. Our teachers will learn to hone in on the work scenarios that students bring to their private classes; whether a client relationship or a team dynamic at large. Each teacher will act as the student’s consultant, providing them with the language tools and cultural awareness needed to navigate these situations.
Designed for Success
Our highly individualized model is designed to make the most of each student’s time, helping them learn Spanish in the most practical, meaningful way possible. We are proud of our students’ success, and enjoy watching their businesses grow. Our typical student achieves their language goals within two years of starting classes. Upon completion of the program, we provide a certificate that indicates fluency level and hours of study.
We have no doubt that learning Spanish will open a world of new possibilities for you and your team – we’ve seen it many times before. Investing in a bilingual workplace enhances work environments while deepening your impact in your community. We are ready to help you expand your horizons and create a culture of bilingualism. Let’s do this!

“For me, as a business owner taking these classes, it’s always been about strengthening the connection between our management and our employees, and starting to build a new culture at the company that is more inclusive and welcoming. It’s been a really great experience and I’m shocked at how much I have learned over the time I’ve been taking classes. My teacher does such a great job of using my personal interests and tying them into the academic plan to make studying easier to focus on.
